Adenoma Sebaceum

Adenoma sebaceum is seen in patients with tuberous sclerosis. It usually appears after 2 years of age and continues to increase till adolescence and persist throughout life. These small reddish brown papules are tiny angiofibromas. They appear on the nose and cheeks in a butterfly distribution. The problem is mainly cosmetic. May be removed using dermabrasion, laser ablation or radiofrequency abrasion.
